History of Softball

The game of softball has an interesting history. America has always been the most innovative and inventive nations of the world when it comes to sports. Women's College Basketball - History and Background

It is well known that basketball was invented in 1891 by Dr. James Nesmith, but what is less known is the history of women's basketball team. The first school of women's basketball session was actually part of a physical education at Smith College for girls in Connecticut.
